We’re so excited to share Morgan and Nate’s gorgeous wedding day with you! I’ve known Morgan since she and my daughter played volleyball together in junior high school. So, it was bittersweet to see her all grown up and starting this journey of marriage.  It seems it was just yesterday when I was carpooling Morgan and my daughter, Erin,  to club volleyball – they’d be sitting in the backseat texting messages to each other so I couldn’t hear them, giggling the whole time, of course. Morgan has a twin brother. As legend has it, it was Morgan who taught her brother how to climb out of their baby beds at a very young age.  Always the “tom boy”, it was sweet to see how she radiated with joy on her wedding day, despite joking that she would rather just run off and get married alone, without all the fuss.

As Morgan and Nate recited their wedding vows, they tried holding back their tears of joy. They held each other’s eyes without pause.  She wore her grandmother’s necklace and her great grandmother’s broach. These two had been through some pretty hard times while they were dating – more than what some people go through in a lifetime. An injury to Nathan’s leg left him in the hospital for months.  It was there that Nate proposed to Morgan, from his hospital bed, surrounded by their families. Morgan says she loves how supportive and dependable Nathan is. Their families say both of them support and encourage each other during the good times and the bad.

Since Morgan and Nate love hiking and fishing, it was only appropriate that they honeymooned in Colorado where they could enjoy all the natural beauty God has to offer.

Huge shout out and hugs to Melissa Frazier for all the work coordinating everything with me, up to and during their wedding day. We both know Morgan is not into all the pomp and circumstance, but she sure looked stunning on her wedding day!  And I know she would not have gotten married without their families there, whom they are both very close to. Shout out too to Morgan for keeping the boys in line during the bridal party photos.  LOL, you know how to crack the whip! Morgan and Nate, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for giving us the honor and privilege of capturing one of the most memorable days of your lives. We are truly blessed. We will forever love you two sweet people and wish you a lifetime of happiness!
